Different Presidents – A Different Marine Corps
Video of an interesting, but unsurprising, response of United States Marines being addressed by their Commander-in-Chief. When the presidents are leaving, notice the camaraderie and fellowship between Bush and the Marines whereas Obama thanks only the officers and high ranking civilians.
This is reminiscent of the days of Bill Clinton. The military always knows who is “with them” and who is not.
Interesting juxtaposition. I do think that the two venues were completely different–one visit was in Anwar province in Iraq, and one was at Camp Lejeune. I’m not saying things would necessarily be different, I’m just saying to be sure you’re comparing apples to apples.
Found you on Alpha Inventions, by the way, and thought I’d come by and say “hi.”
